New Round of Maryland Budget Cuts Could Hit All Services
This week Governor Martin O'Malley announced that the state's fiscal condition is in need of such deep repair that health care, education and public safety will not be spared in the next round of budget cuts. With the national economic news this week, this is no surprise. On Wednesday O'Malley declared "there are no painless options available."
